LEO MADAN

Ever Since my childhood, I wanted a Doggy. Every time I asked my parents if we can have a pet, the answers were always the same: “we can take care of you and your brother, we cannot take care of another”, “who will feed him and clean his poop”? and my all-time favorite “your puppy hasn't been born yet”!

Finally completing my high school and scoring unexpectedly high, mom and dad had to finally give in to my demands. Perks of scoring high in India (Pun intended) and we got a black Labrador.

It was 18th June 2016, the day LEO came into our lives and changed it forever. He was and still the cutest little creature with most innocent face and such naughty eyes. Since that day, there hasn’t been a single day without a mention of LEO in my conversations. Having said that, this is my initial attempt to bring his mischiefs and my emotions towards those mischiefs in front of my dear ones. 

As days passed and he grew, he became naughtier and to my surprise, smart. Mind you not intelligent but smart. Smarter in communicating what he needs. He is 2 years old now, and in these 2 years, I have learned so much about him. The way he expresses his love, his care, his patience, and the way he talks through his body without saying a word. This sometimes makes me wonder how anyone can live an entire life without saying even a word and still understand and make me understand everything.
